Vinyl Lettering

Here's a gift I recently put together. The sign, card and take-out box are the only items that I used my Pazzle on.

I finally got some transfer tape, jsut the cricut brand from Wal-mart, and I am SO pleased with how easy it was to apply it and everything. I cut the board from pine, then routered the edges, painted pepto-bismal pink.
I don't remember the fonts I used, two different ones though.

I also cut out the onesie card on the Pazzle. It was a file I got from Elenia at the Pazzle Inspiration Yahoo Group. I just cut it out and layered it together. I cut the "Emma" out of the pink, so it's really the negative that's there. I added a rhinestone for the middle of the "A"

I also cut the chinese take-out box from the Pazzles gallery. I LOVE the way the box turned out, I wish I had a 12"x24" matte so I coudl cut even bigger boxes!!

I just got my Pazzles, never used a die cutter before. But I mostly wanted it to create vinyl letters and I cannot seem to cut them properly AT ALL. Every font I pick the letters never properly cut, I have increased blade and pressure, lowered them, you name it. Blade 2 with 9 pressure seems to work the best if I pass through 4 times...I am using 3ml Cricut vinyl, brand new Pazzles, Brand new mat, brand new blade. HELP! lol
