Ding Bats

Okay, so I have discovered something very cool... I'm sure I'm the first to think of it too. In my search for freebie cutter files, I realized that if I could just obtain an image in the form of a font, I wouldn't have to convert it. And so began my search for Ding Bats. Genius! I found this Font "YeeHaw" offered on a free font site, and decided to finallly put my theory to test. The great part... cuts like a dream, just like it's cutting a letter -only these are cowboys. So check out the link there on the side to the Dingbat Depot and git yurself sum! Oh yes, I'm not doing anything with these here cowboys, so they shall be donated to a friend that is awaiting her new cowboy stamp set from Stampin' Up!

playing with my pazzle

I found some great tutorials on making cardstock flowers. I'll post the links later. For now, I wanted to share a picture of the cool flower I made last nite. I converted the template into the Pazzle software, then cut out all the petals.
I spritzed the petals with water, then crumpled them for texture. Then after partially drying I sponged on two colors of ink, and then layered together to form the flower. I shaped it, and then let it finish drying.
It is quite large, but I should be able to now make them in any size I'd like!
